Objectives of the Trust – The Vision

We want to inspire our whole community to aspire to greater things. To do this we aim to use the Trust to help us to:

• Improve teaching and learning.
• Embrace the use of new technologies.
• Enhance curriculum development to include more vocational opportunities.
• Raise attainment.
• Promote healthy lifestyles.
• Develop a co-operative community model where all can contribute to our improvement.
• Provide new opportunities.

What the Trust will do

The Trust will establish a long term sustainable relationship that will bring together in a formal arrangement Haydock High School and external partners from Higher Education, Further Education, Sport, Health, local business and a leading worldwide provider of educational products and services. This partnership will devote itself to delivering improved children’s services and community cohesion within the wider community.

The Trust will support this partnership and create an environment where all learners of any age will have access to and support for a wide range of learning opportunities. It will help to raise standards and make a direct contribution to raising achievement and improving the well being and aspirations of students.
