Books for Africa
During March, Haydock Sports College responded to a request to collect old text books.
Comic Relief 2011
On Friday 18th March, Haydock Sports College were 'doing something funny for money' and supporting Red Nose Day in a variety of ways including a spot of ‘role reversal’ with the staff dressing as students and the students attempting to dress as a member of staff.
Bushtucker Trial
Three 'brave' staff volunteered for a Bushtucker Trial to raise money for the Year 11 Prom.
Castle making competition
During February, Year 7 History students were involved in making castles.
Forensic Science Day
During January some Year 11 students took part in a Forensic Science Activity Day as part of their OCR Nationals Science course.
Celebrating Chinese New Year 2011
