Sportspersons' Dinner 2011

On Thursday 1st December the PE department organised the annual Haydock Sports College Sportspersons’ Dinner. Throughout the course of the evening staff and pupils celebrated the sporting success of the past year. Trophies were awarded to both individual sports performers and entire teams by England and Liverpool player Conor Coady. Before the evening progressed into a disco the three main awards were presented with the Contribution to School Sport and the Team of the Year being awarded to Liam Cooper and Natasha Lee and the Year 8 Boys Football team respectively. However the Sports Personality of the Year award, which is voted on by the pupils was won by Chloe Plunkett with Harry Cross missing out by a single vote! Thank you to all who attended and congratulations to all who won an award.
