Post 16 Celebration Evening

Year 11 Leavers were invited back to College for the Post 16 Celebration Evening on Wednesday 23rd November in order to collect their GCSE certificates.

Prizes were presented to students who had performed exceptionally well in the various subject areas by Steve Prescott. Steve, a former England Rugby League full-back, who also played for St. Helens and Hull FC, was invited to be the guest speaker at the evening, and gave a great talk and presentation to the students.

The evening was a wonderful opportunity for students to catch up with each other and for staff to find out what they were up to now. Alexandra Guy was awarded the Sybil Arnold Salver and Ralph Bernardo was the recipient of the Sam Bell Trophy - both of these awards were for service to the school.
