Amy Livesey
Congratulations to Amy Livesey, a Year 11 student, who won a gold medal in Judo at the Irish National Championships.
On Monday 19th April, Haydock Sports College welcomed the Mayor of St.Helens, Councillor Terry Shields, as he visited to watch the Year 7 students perform and display the work they had produced for ‘You’re the Voice’.
Congratulations to Ben Gallagher in Year 9 who recently became the new Member of the Youth Parliament for St.Helens.
On 8th April 2010, a number of our students (past and present) attended the Youth Volunteer Awards Presentation held at The Park Inn St.Helens.
On Wednesday 24th March a couple of our students visited Brookfield Residential Home in Haydock to take a selection of work which students had produced in Art.
The pupils and staff at Haydock Sports College entered into the spirit of Sports Relief on Friday 19th March by all taking part in the 1 mile run.
On Wednesday 10th March, Haydock Sports College hosted their annual Primary School Quiz.
Teenagers from Haydock Sports College, St Helens, flew to the rescue of natural disaster victims in the ATG Airports Make It Enterprising Schools Challenge.
On Thursday 4th March 2010, a group of students went on their Geography field trip to Snowdonia in North Wales.

Haydock Sports College and Christ Church URC are hosting this project to encourage our young people and our community to: SAY NO TO GUN, KNIFE, GANG AND DRUG CRIME
We all need to work together and support these events to help make Haydock a safer place for all!
